Hustle Culture is a new trend in our working life.It reflects also our mental health, because it is a tendency which leads to an illusion of reaching the American dream by spending many hours in the office and neglecting your private life.

Work is important but it is not good to make it the center of our lives.

Recently there is a rise in the companies which stimulate the employees who are working overtime and praise them for the devotion and commitment with long stay in the office. In addition they do not tolerate long vacations and unexpected sick leaves.

The above mentioned are only some small aspects of the hustle culture.

Generally Hustle Culture means:

Hustle culture describes a common, modern workplace environment that emphasizes hard work and long hours as the key to success.

How to prevent from hustle culture?

1. Set a healthy work-life balance

2. Encourage self -reflecting and self- awareness

3. Support self-care

4. Set realistic goals and deadlines

5. Open Communication.

  • Try things like meditation, deep breathing, or short walks in the park to stay calm

  • Take regular breaks throughout the day to recharge your energy. Just few moments away from work can help you to refocus.

  • Don't be afraid to ask for help if you find yourself struggling from hustle culture.
